He began with collecting as a pupil in a college in Prague, where he started with friends to visit some pubs. They have a condition to drink beer and brink a beer mat with name of the pub. This student’s competition slowly became an interest and the mats started increase also from others ways. From the mats were not far to beer labels. In the year 1985 he started to study at the Moscow University and the collection was in stagnation, because in this time Russian labels were not interesting. The changing was the introducing with one of the best Russian collector Vitalij Lysenko, whose took him to many others collectors. He stayed in Russia after his studying, founded his new family and started to specialized for labels from former Soviet Union. Because of his profession he travels a lot around Russia so he also could visit many breweries from Moscow to Siberia. He knows many people in breweries in cities, which are very hard to find on the map. He has also contacts in many Russians breweries. He collected other souvenirs, but because of his job, today he collects only labels. Today he lives in Slovakia and also in Russia. From all Slovak collectors he has the biggest collection of Soviet Union labels and very good collection of mini breweries in Russia. He is a member in collector club in Martin and also in Kosice. He was the initiator of foundation beer labels club in Moscow, where he is a honorable chair man. He cooperate with association on address books, dictionaries and others materials.
